Luxurious Wellness Retreats

I am currently researching relaxing vacations to take with friends as soon as exams are over for this year. A wellness retreat would be the ideal prescription to recharge after the stress of school is over for a few months before I write the NPLEX exam in August and go back to school in September. I love exploring the world and going on adventures… so why not improve my health at the same time while I’m away? Here is a list of the places that are in my dreams and on my “Must-Visit Wellness Resorts” list. Which one would you want to visit first?

Daily sunrise yoga in Cabo San Lucas. This was such an energizing vacation that cleared a lot of stress for me.

  1. Sha Wellness Clinic, Spain
This modern spot has an impressive medical staff including a psychologist, an osteopath, nutritionist, and doctors specializing in aesthetic medicine to take care of you. The views of Alicante coastline from the resort look absolutely jaw-dropping. I would love to try the Sha Rejuvenation Programme: 7 days of spa-filled services, fitness coaching, cooking classing, hiking through the Spanish scenery, detoxing through colonics, juices, etc. Check this place out at shawellnessclinic.com

2. Fusion Maia Da Nang, Vietnam
Welcome to Asia’s first all-inclusive resort and spa on the ocean in Da Nang, Vietnam! All-inclusive meaning it includes breakfast (+ lunch and dinner as an add-on), two spa treatments and villa accommodation for every single day of your stay. The breakfast is served whenever and wherever you want. If you sleep in one day and want your breakfast at noon on the beach… they’ll make it happen to make you happy! There are absolutely no worries at Fusion Maia. More details at maiadanang.fusion-resorts.com

3. Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa Resort, Thailand.
I am in awe of Kamalaya! This getaway would be effective for anyone searching for a complete health reboot. Kamalaya’s programs are created by naturopaths, yoga instructors, meditation coaches, hollistic chefs, Ayurveda practitioners, etc. to combine various techniques for the main goal of healing. If you are feeling stressed and depleted (like I feel as this school year comes to an end), this is the vacation you should look into. The resort’s video alone makes me feel calm and serene.
